Common questions

Straight answers about choosing between Clevera and Scribe.

Is Clevera cheaper than Scribe?

Scribe’s paid entry is lower per seat ($25 a month billed yearly vs $29 for Clevera Starter). Clevera includes translations, AI voiceover and unlimited free editors on every plan, so the total depends on team size and output needed.

Does Scribe make videos?

Scribe is mainly a screenshot guide tool. Its site says guides can play in a video-style movie embed with AI voiceover, but it does not record screen video or offer editing like Clevera.

What does Scribe do better than Clevera?

Scribe is faster for simple click-through guides and has a free browser capture plan. It also offers enterprise controls such as SSO, SCIM, auto-redaction and SOC 2 Type II compliance.

Does Clevera also create step-by-step guides?

Yes. Clevera generates step-by-step articles with captioned screenshots from the same recording as your video, and publishes them to Notion, Confluence, GitHub, GitBook and Google Docs on Pro.

Does Scribe support translation?

Scribe lists language translation under Enterprise only, and its site does not state the number of languages. Clevera includes translations in 74 languages on all plans.
